Short bio
- A bit about me...
- I am an educator, a researcher, and a writer. I hold a doctoral degree in educational leadership with specification in curriculum and instruction, from University of Phoenix, Arizona, USA. My dissertation topic is "Multiple Intelligences and Language Acquisition". I also have a certificate on using brain-research for curriculum and instruction from Harvard University. I am a member at a number of international organizations including the American Educational Research Association (AERA), USA, the American Psychology Association (APA), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), TOESL, Phi Delta Kappan, the Montessori Foundation, the Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Studies, and the Child Rights Information Network, USA. My research interests focus on education, brain-research, linguistics and translation studies, American and British literature, anthropology and cultural studies, and integrating technology into learning. I enjoy reading, swimming, music, and art. I write stories for children, and I design educational programs for children and adults.

We just launched Mahara for IT4ALL: http://mahara.integrating-technology.org
You are invited to join and develop your professional/personal e-portfolio.
Thank you for sharing your ideas on telemdedicine. While I agree that e-learning and good facilitation can benefit the public and cut costs for organizations, how are you going to educate the public on how to learn online. In fact, you would need massive well executed face-to-face campaigns by governments, health care organizations, and maybe community centres to educate the current public on computer literacy.
However, doctors are already taking advantage of telemedicine in saving lives by sharing and collaborating with other doctors around the world.
